7:31 PM PT: She's got the crowd excited again. Her delivery really is strong, even though I'm not sure how convincing it will be to nonpartisans. But one thing is for sure: when Mitt Romney takes the stage on Thursday night, the people in that hall will be disappointed, in comparison.

7:11 PM PT: Ann Romney has taken the stage, wearing a blindingly red dress. Crowd is as loud as it's been all night, save for Scott Walker.

7:12 PM PT: "The Hurricane has hit landfall," Ann Romney says, saying a prayer for them. "We should be grateful for this great country ... and the first responders."

7:13 PM PT: There's a bunch of pictures of Mitt Romney behind Ann. None of them feature him cutting anybody's hair, oddly.

7:13 PM PT: Ack: "Tonight, I want to talk to you about love."

7:19 PM PT: I'll say this: Ann Romney's delivery is very strong. I'm sure people who already liked her will love this speech. And I'm also confident that her husband's speech won't measure up.

7:21 PM PT: "We got married and moved into a basement apartment together ... we ate a lot of pasta and tuna fish." A real tale of hardship!

From this Tuesday evening's coverage on Current TV of the Republican National Convention, The War Room host and former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm reacts to Ohio Gov. John Kasich taking credit for his state's improving economy.

As Granholm and others pointed out, if Kasich were willing to be honest, he'd be thanking President Obama for saving the auto industry and his state's economy, rather than praising and supporting the guy for president, who famously said to let Detroit go bankrupt. If it were up to Willard, Kasich wouldn't have anything to be bragging about right now.

Par for the course for a convention whose entire theme is based on a lie and distortion and taking President Obama's "you didn't build that" remarks out of context.
