'John McCain would rather lose his honor than
lose an election.'

New ad, well not really a new ad at all. It's a YouTube video by someone who says that this is the ad she'd do if she had a 527. The closing line is great:

"John McCain says he refuses to define honor, maybe that's because honor no longer defines John McCain."
The images go by too quickly to read, really, but most of it is spoken anyway, so you can get the gist. It's really good. And no one paid them 20 million dollars to do it.

McCain Blind on The View

John McCain was grilled by the women on The View while he tried really hard to suck up to Hillary Clinton supporters. Grilled. But both my favorite and my least favorite issue was when McCain claimed that Palin supported 0 earmarks while she was a[...]

[9-11] was an inside job," but Obama has said it was Al Qaeda

On the September 11 broadcast of San Francisco radiostation KSFO's The Lee Rodgers Show, guest host Brian Sussman suggested that Sen. Wasilla Republican deciding vote on subpoenas

This, of course, is good news.

The state Senate Judiciary Committee voted 3-2 today to subpoena 13 people -- including the husband of Gov. Sarah Palin -- in an investigation of whether Palin abused her power in trying to get her former brother-in-law fired.

What's interesting is that committee is controlled by Republicans -- three of them compared to two Democrats. The two Democrats voted to issue the subpoenas, including one targeting Todd Palin. That left three Republicans able to block them. Yet one of them defected.

His name is Charlie Huggins, and he represents ... Wasilla.

Ad Ignorantium or Ad Nauseam or Both ... And, In
'Others' Words ...

MS. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTONBuzzFlash,

"It is horrible to see everything that one detested in the past coming back wearing the colors of the future." -- Jean Rostand, 1894-1977
Judging from what has been in the news this last week from McCain and Palin, the thought comes to mind, "out of the mouths of babes." One has to wonder how much blood has to be spilled before these bloodthirsty Bush Republicans will be satisfied.Bookmark/Search this post with: buzzflash buzzflash | delicious delicious | digg digg | technorati technorati Technorati Tags: Shirley Smith Election Palin McCain War Republicans
