Can you help

We are 18 days out from the election. Those of us in swing states are VERY BUSY training our people, running tests, and getting ready for that last big push. That's in addition to the work related to getting early voters out in places like Florida, Ohio and Iowa.

Here in Pennsylvania, we have that last weekend (and Monday) to make sure all of our voters are ready to go on Tuesday. We have no early voting, no easy absentee balloting. I live in Chester County, ground zero for whether we win or lose the state of Pennsylvania. Ours was the only county in 2010 that switched to red from a 2008 blue, and basically cost us the governor's mansion and the assembly, and led to the Voter ID law, the "year of the bible" and such draconian cuts to higher education that it now costs more to go to Penn State than to Harvard.

We need to turn out our voters, not just for Obama, but all the way down the ballot.

We have many people who will be canvassing, but there are areas in the county that physically cannot be canvassed. For that, we need phone bankers. Do you have 4 hours the weekend of November 3 - 4 to make phone calls? Perhaps you live in a state where the outcome is known and could spare the time.

Remember that while Pennsylvania is assumed to go blue, it's not a given.
