My husband has not been able to hold down a job our entire married life. He indulged in substance abuse for years. He has experienced everything else listed in the quote. His memory is in the form of dementia at this point, he walks like a man in his eighties and has no balance. He is constantly falling. But the "good ole VA" only allows him 40% disability for all this. They actually told him that he could work! Unbelievable! Well, his case is in the Washington court, now. A part of it has been remanded. We did get a lawyer who has put him in for 100% PTSD benefits. But, we've been here before. I guess time will tell. The question is "How much more time"?
